Problem
When updating to version 9.1.0.30996 and subsequently activating the databases, the process may take significantly longer than usual.
This behavior only occurs when updating from versions 8.x or 9.0.x to 9.1.0.30996 or later.
If you are updating from a version higher than 9.1.0.30996 to a newer release, this issue does not apply.
Solution
As mentioned in our newsletter, this update may take longer than previous ones because the encryption of the quality fields has been further strengthened.
During the first database activation after the update, each record must be reprocessed once, which can take several hours depending on the size and performance of your database.
To speed up the process, we recommend allocating sufficient server resources (RAM, CPU) before starting the update.
Please note that no progress bar is displayed during this operation. As long as no error message appears, the process is still running in the background. We kindly ask for your patience until the activation is fully completed.
Important
The process must not be interrupted by restarting the server or stopping the service.
If an interruption does occur, you will need to restore a database backup and restart the activation from the beginning.
