Problem
Activating the databases after an update to version 9.1.0.30996 takes an unusually long time.
Solution
As mentioned in the newsletter, this update may take a little longer compared to previous versions, as the encryption of the quality fields has been strengthened.
This means that each data record must be adjusted once when reactivating the database, which can take several hours depending on the size of your database.
We therefore recommend that you provide the server with sufficient resources (RAM, CPU) before the update in order to speed up the process.
Please note that no progress bar is available during the update. As long as no error message appears, the process will continue to run in the background. We therefore ask you to be patient until the process is complete.
Important
It is important that this process is not interrupted by restarting the server or stopping the service. If this does happen, a backup of the database must be imported and the activation of the database restarted from the beginning.
