Problem
You cannot activate the database after an update from version 9.2.3 and an error message “Database is out-dated” appears in the Netwrix Password Secure Server Manager console.
Cause
As of version 9.2.3, Netwrix Password Secure instance requires at least an SQL Server 2019. If this is not available or the SQL Server has older versions installed, the database will not activate after the update.
Solution approach
Please check the version of your SQL Server that is in use, as the version is probably outdated and therefore causing the activation error
